- How to identify hazards and childproof your home
- How to keep your child healthy and reduce risk for illness and injury
Program participants may receive FREE health kits, home childproofing supplies, books, diapers & more. Year-round open enrollment for families!

CalWORKS Parents As Teachers
Parents As Teachers – an evidence-based home visiting model that promotes the optimal early development, learning and health of children by supporting and engaging their parents and caregivers. Offered prenatally through kindergarten and funded by First 5 Riverside, for parents who are CalWORKs recipients.

Community Resources Assistance
Our Community Resource Specialist provides parents and caregivers with information and referrals, to free and low-cost, health and social service agencies/programs available in the Coachella Valley.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Assistance identifying needed community resources and/or programs
- Referrals to appropriate services
- Enrollment assistance into programs and services
- Follow-up to ensure a connection to services has been made
