OPHELIA LUNCHEON CELEBRATES GRADUATING SENIORS AT THE WESTIN RANCHO MIRAGE RESORT & SPA

Ophelia Girls, mentors, and supporters gathered March 16 to send off graduating seniors as they reflect on building confidence, leadership, and higher education.

Students, mentors, and supporters gathered in March at The Westin Rancho Mirage Resort & Spa for the annual Ophelia Luncheon, celebrating graduating seniors and the program that has helped guide them toward higher education and future careers.

Hosted by the John F. Kennedy Memorial Foundation, the event highlighted the reach of the Ophelia Program, which supports 610 young women across 21 schools in the Coachella Valley.

Graduating seniors shared reflections on their journeys, crediting the mentors who helped build their confidence and leadership along the way. The afternoon also recognized the mentors and sponsors whose continued support sustains the program.

“It is a celebration of the girls, the mentors, and the community partners who believe in the power of education, encouragement, and opportunity,” foundation CEO Peter Sturgeon says.
