This John F. Kennedy Memorial Foundation program offers scholarships and guidance to middle and high school girls. Sponsors included presenting sponsor Augustine Band of Cahuilla Indians and valedictorian sponsor US Bank.

Veneisha Foster, General Manager, BMW of Palm Springs, didn’t set out to run a car dealership. But she quickly discovered a passion for the work and the chance to help others succeed. After graduating from Cathedral City High School, she took a cashier job at BMW of Palm Springs. Two decades later, she leads the dealership as general manager, overseeing a team of 80.

The City of Rancho Mirage has joined a group of individuals, businesses, and public agency partners in helping to brighten the future for young women throughout Greater Palm Springs through its partnership with the JFK Memorial Foundation’s Ophelia Program.
